Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter

The Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter cares for stray, abandoned, neglected and otherwise homeless animals in Mahaska County. We provide pet adoption services to the public, work to educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and promote spay/neuter through our "spay the county" program.
